EUROPE SANITARY WARE MARKET 2022-2028
MARKET OUTLOOK
Triton’s report has determined the European sanitary ware market to proliferate with a CAGR of 3.42% (by revenue) and 2.93% (by volume) during the forecast period 2019-2028. France, Italy, Russia, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Rest of Europe together form the market in the region.
The construction industry in Italy was adversely affected by the pandemic outbreak in 2020. It is, however, forecasted to recover and grow strongly in the next few years, with support from EU Recovery funds, among other factors. The Government of Italy also announced that it would lift restrictions on 130 strategic construction projects to relaunch the economy and modernize its infrastructure network. Such trends in the construction industry are shaping the demand for sanitary ware in Italy. This, in turn, will foster market growth.
The Government of France is planning to spend EUR 6.8 billion for infrastructure development and refurbishment in the country. Long-term growth in this sector is also expected to be driven by the government’s plan to invest EUR 80 billion on developing the transport infrastructure between 2018 and 2037. Similarly, preparations are underway for the upcoming Olympics event in Paris in 2024, which is said to be the biggest infrastructure project underway in Europe at present. The growth in infrastructural activity is expected to create opportunities for the adoption of sanitary ware. This will consequently bolster the development of the studied market in France in the coming years.
