Report Analysis:
Working Principle of Ovulation Microscope:
Hormone changes before and during ovulation are detected by the ovulation microscope. Dried saliva samples show "ferning" or crystal patterns when oestrogen levels rise. Ovulation is on the verge of occurring based on these patterns. The most fertile period lasts from a few days prior to ovulation to around 24 hours following ovulation.
A woman's reproductive period lasts for around six days and ends 24 hours after ovulation. The ovulation microscope lets you monitor fertility and cycle changes, unlike urine LH testing. Within 24 to 72 hours of observing a positive result i.e. crystal/ferning patterns, ovulation is probably going to take place.
