We have trimmed our 2024 GDP growth forecast for Paraguay by 0.3ppts to 3.7%, in line with consensus but below the 4.7% achieved in 2023. This change reflects a slower-than-anticipated rebound in fixed investment after a downward correction last year, along with our expectations of a slowdown in exports due to subdued agricultural output. More positively, wage increases, lower inflation and laxer financial conditions will propel private consumption growth to 3.9% this year and 4.9% in 2025. As such, we maintain our GDP growth forecast for 2025 at 4%.
