We forecast GDP growth for Bolivia of 2.2% next year, backed by fiscal expenditure and public investment projects. But we've cut our 2024 GDP forecast by 0.6ppts to 1.0% due to the protracted riots and higher inflation weighing on feeble domestic demand. The Supreme Court banned ex-president Evo Morales from running in the 2025 elections, triggering a political stalemate. Meanwhile, the Congress led by the opposition has blocked any major policy implementation.
