We have lowered our 2022 GDP growth forecast to 2.5% from 2.8% to reflect the upward revision to our energy price forecasts after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Headline CPI is now projected to average 1.6% in 2022, up from 1.3% previously. With few signs of wage increases, we believe that the squeeze on households’ real incomes will substantially delay the recovery.
