The Hungarian National Bank (MNB) kept the policy rate unchanged at 6.5% at today's meeting, in line with our expectations. We think the MNB remains will remain in a wait-and-see mode due to lingering market, inflation and global policy risks. We expect the bank to resume the easing cycle only in mid-2025.
