Global Piezoelectric Accelerometers Market Research Report 2023-Competitive Analysis, Status and Outlook by Type, Downstream Industry, and Geography, Forecast to 2029

Market Overview:

The latest research study on the global Piezoelectric Accelerometers market finds that the global Piezoelectric Accelerometers market reached a value of USD 552.72 million in 2022. It’s expected that the market will achieve USD 695.61 million by 2028, exhibiting a CAGR of 3.91% during the forecast period.

Limitations

The output change of the sensor is caused by the change of temperature, which is caused by the characteristics of piezoelectric material (sensitive core). According to the classification of piezoelectric materials, quartz crystals are least affected by temperature, while synthetic crystals use temperature is even higher than quartz. But in the commercialized piezoelectric accelerometer, the most commonly used piezoelectric material is piezoelectric ceramics. The output of the piezoelectric ceramic core increases with the increase of temperature at high temperature and decreases with the decrease of temperature at low temperature. However, there is no linear change between sensor output and temperature. The change of sensor output at low temperature is larger than that at high temperature. In addition, because the temperature response of each sensor is difficult to maintain consistency, the temperature coefficient is seldom used to modify the output of the sensor in practical use. Typical temperature response curves or temperature coefficients are generally used only as a measure of temperature characteristics of sensors.

Opportunities

Micro Acceleration Sensor (MEMS Acceleration Sensor) is a micro-electromechanical system based on micro-machined technology and fabricated on single crystal silicon wafer.
Micro-electro-mechanical acceleration sensor is obviously different from other inertial sensors because of its integrated circuit processing technology. Its advantages are longer life, lower manufacturing cost and higher reliability. In addition, it has the characteristics of smaller volume, lighter weight, less power consumption, easy integration and mass production.
