Synchronous AC servo motor, also known as permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, is a motor that combines the rotor of a permanent magnet synchronous motor with the advantages of an AC servo controller. It has the characteristics of simple structure, small size, light weight, high efficiency and easy maintenance, and has become one of the most widely used types of servo motors. The basic working principle of a synchronous AC servo motor is: the current in the motor's stator winding generates a rotating magnetic field, which drives the rotor to rotate synchronously. The encoder on the rotor feeds back the position and speed of the rotor to the servo controller. The servo controller continuously adjusts the motor torque according to the deviation signal so that the motor speed and position accurately track the given instructions.
