Global Stimulated Emission Depletion Microscopy Market Growth 2024-2030
Stimulated Emission Depletion Microscope (STED) is a microscopy technology that breaks through the optical diffraction limit. Two laser beams are used to irradiate the sample simultaneously, one of which is used to excite the fluorescent molecules, so that the fluorescent molecules within the range of the objective lens focus Airy disk are in an excited state; the other is superimposed with a ring-shaped loss laser with zero central light intensity, so that the fluorescent molecules in the excited state at the edge of the objective lens focus Airy disk return to the ground state through the stimulated radiation depletion process without spontaneously radiating fluorescence. Therefore, only the fluorescent molecules in the central area can spontaneously radiate fluorescence, thereby obtaining fluorescent luminescence points beyond the diffraction limit. STED technology is the only super-resolution technology that does not require an algorithm, and it allows researchers to collect the most realistic experimental data.
The global Stimulated Emission Depletion Microscopy market size is projected to grow from US$ million in 2024 to US$ million in 2030; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2024 to 2030.
