Semiconductor optical profilometer is a high-precision, non-contact three-dimensional surface morphology measurement instrument, which has a wide range of applications in semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics processing, precision machining and other fields. The semiconductor optical profiler mainly works based on the principle of white light interference. During the measurement process, the laser emits a monochromatic laser beam, which is focused by a convex lens and directed onto the surface of the object being measured (such as a semiconductor wafer). The laser reflected back from the irradiated surface overlaps with the laser that has not undergone surface reflection on the detector, forming interference fringes. Due to the phase difference occurring during surface reflection, this difference can be measured using an interferometer. By using phase shift method to adjust the phase difference between laser beams, the light and dark stripes are made clearer, thus accurately obtaining the height information of the measured object surface. During the scanning process, the laser beam continuously scans the surface of the object being measured, ultimately obtaining the entire shape data of the object being measured.
