The carbon content in aluminum alloy is lower than that in stainless steel, which can reduce carbon based gas pollution. In addition, aluminum alloy has lower magnetism, and when paired with 316LN stainless steel, it can reduce magnetism in vacuum. If titanium metal is used instead of stainless steel, lower magnetic permeability can be achieved, making it suitable for environments with high magnetic requirements, such as synchrotron accelerators. Meanwhile, the radioactive decay rate of aluminum is much faster than that of stainless steel. After being bombarded by charged particles of the same flux, the residual radioactivity of aluminum is 1-2 orders of magnitude lower than that of stainless steel. The use of aluminum components can reduce the damage generated during the semiconductor circuit manufacturing process.
