It uses a smaller current or voltage signal to control the larger current on and off in the power battery main circuit to achieve automatic control and protection of the circuit. In the power battery system, the relay is usually used to control the circuit connection and disconnection between the power battery and high-voltage components such as the motor controller and the charger. The working principle of the power battery main circuit relay is based on electromagnetic induction and contact action. When the control signal (such as the command from the battery management system) reaches the trigger threshold of the relay, the coil inside the relay generates electromagnetic attraction, attracts the armature and closes or disconnects the contacts, thereby controlling the on and off of the power battery main circuit.
