Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane materials possess characteristics such as high flow rate, low extractables, low protein adsorption, and excellent mechanical strength. They have good chemical compatibility, and the membrane pore structure can be manufactured to be symmetric or asymmetric. PES membranes possess extremely low flow rate diffusion and stable sterilization capability. The asymmetric pore structure enhances flow rate and increases contaminant holding capacity, thereby extending the membrane's service life.
