This system uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to detect magnetic abnormal areas in the material by applying a magnetic field to the surface of the material being tested. When there are defects on the material surface (such as cracks, corrosion, etc.), the magnetic field will leak, resulting in abnormal signals.
The magnetic flux leakage detection system mainly consists of magnetic field generation device, sensor, data acquisition and processing equipment. Magnetic field generating devices usually use permanent magnets or electromagnets to generate a uniform magnetic field. The sensor is used to detect magnetic field leakage signals and convert the signals into electrical signals for transmission to data acquisition and processing equipment.
