Global Guitar Electronic Amplifiers Market Growth 2024-2030
A guitar electronic amplifier (or amp) is an electronic device or system that strengthens the electrical signal from a pickup on an electric guitar, bass guitar, or acoustic guitar so that it can produce sound through one or more loudspeakers, which are typically housed in a wooden cabinet. A guitar electronic amplifier may be a standalone wood or metal cabinet that contains only the power amplifier (and preamplifier) circuits, requiring the use of a separate speaker cabinet–or it may be a "combo" amplifier, which contains both the amplifier and one or more speakers in a wooden cabinet. There is a wide range of sizes and power ratings for guitar amplifiers, from small, lightweight "practice amplifiers" with a single 6-inch speaker and a 10-watt amp to heavy combo amps with four 10-inch or four 12-inch speakers and a 100-watt amplifier, which are loud enough to use in a nightclub or bar performance.
The global Guitar Electronic Amplifiers market size is projected to grow from US$ 122.9 million in 2023 to US$ 155.5 million in 2030; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.4% from 2024 to 2030.

Automotive applications drive the performance of Class D amplifiers due to increasing innovations in complex and energy-efficient electronics. Class D power amplifiers are controlled to provide performance comparable to Class AB competitors while serving low-end applications. Used in numerous electrical, automotive and home automation systems, "D" technology is a new advancement in the guitar amplifier market. Its demand for speakers that use audio amplifiers to enhance sound quality and increasing use of sophisticated and energy-efficient electronics are the two major factors driving the growth of the audio amplifier market. The expansion of the amplifier market is hampered by excessive power consumption and leakage current issues. The increasing popularity of the in-vehicle infotainment market and increasing penetration of IoT presents the best potential prospects for the guitar amplifier market.
