A Doppler Effect Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a device used to measure the velocity of a liquid or gas. It is based on the principle of the Doppler effect and calculates the velocity of the fluid by sending an ultrasonic signal and detecting the frequency change of its return signal. The Doppler effect is the change in the frequency of received sound waves when there is relative motion between the sound source and receiver.
