Diesel EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) is an emissions control technology for diesel engines, similar to gasoline engines. This technology reduces the harmful substances emitted by the engine by reintroducing part of the exhaust gas into the engine's intake system to reduce the generation of nitrogen oxides (NOx). The diesel engine EGR system includes an EGR valve and related pipes to control the flow of exhaust gases. When the engine is running, the EGR valve adjusts the flow of exhaust gas according to operating conditions such as engine load, speed, and temperature. By reintroducing part of the exhaust gas into the intake duct, the oxygen concentration and combustion temperature in the combustion chamber are reduced, thereby reducing the generation of NOx.
