The air conditioning pressure sensor is one of the most important sensors in the automotive refrigeration system. It is mainly used to monitor the refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning pipeline, prevent abnormal pressure from damaging the compressor, and cooperate with other functional components to control the opening and closing of the cooling fan and compressor. The air conditioning pressure sensor is generally installed on the high-pressure pipeline of the air conditioning in the engine compartment. The pressure signal it collects is mainly output to the engine ECU or air conditioning control unit. After receiving normal signals, the ECU will issue commands to control the compressor and cooling fan to start. If abnormal pressure signals are received, it will issue commands to refuse to start the compressor and other air conditioning equipment to avoid damage to the refrigeration system. After the air conditioning pressure sensor is damaged, it can cause malfunctions such as non cooling, compressor failure, or repeated start stop in the car, and store corresponding fault codes in the engine ECU or air conditioning control module.
