The Active Magnetic Field Cancellation System provides an effective solution for suppressing environmental magnetic fields, enabling high-resolution performance in instruments such as TEM, SEM and FEG SEM. The system usually consists of a magnetic field control unit, a magnetic field sensor and three multi-core cables. Cables are installed on the X, Y and Z axes in the room. The sensor measures the strength and phase of the magnetic field in real time. The signal is fed to a control unit where three power amplifiers drive counter-phase currents through multi-core cables to effectively cancel magnetic fields.
