Exhaust emissions are kept to a bare minimum in electric vehicles. Excessive reliance on fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum, and other energy sources leads to the depletion and extinction of natural resources.

During the projected period, Europe is likely to grow its market share of EV charging connections globally, leading to a rise in EV demand. France's leadership in renewable energy and the United Kingdom's ban on the sale of diesel and gasoline vehicles will both help this sector of the economy grow. With more than 80,000 slow chargers, the Netherlands tops Europe, followed by 50,000 in France, 40,000 in Germany, 30,000 in the United Kingdom, 20,000 in Italy, and just over 12,000 each in Norway and Sweden. Over 30% more public fast chargers were installed in Europe, totaling close to 50000 units.
