As of 2021, the automotive industry in Malaysia employed over 700,000 people, including those in manufacturing, sales, and after-sales services.

By Organization Size: In 2022, the automotive workforce is dominated by organization size of >200.>73% of the respondents were part of large organizations, i.e. ones that have more than 200 employees, therefore helping us gauge the broader trend in the industry.

By Team Size: ~44% of the workforce leaders oversee a team of 11-20 employees therefore resulting in higher order analysis wherein respondents were able to give insights based on observation of a larger group. Engine, Brake and Transmission Experts had the largest team size with ~74% leaders having a team of 11 employees or more.
