This IDC study presents the worldwide wearable computing device forecast for the 2022–2026 period."As the worldwide wearables market reaches maturity, we expect growth to continue albeit at a slower rate," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director for IDC's Wearables team. "The past two years have shown terrific growth, mostly on the backs of hearables due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We expect that demand to cool off in the years to come, but nevertheless, the market will see continued growth, thanks to smartwatches and healthy replacement opportunities."
