This IDC study presents the forecast data for the worldwide PC market for 2022–2026."A historic period of monumental growth has finally succumbed to saturation and tough comparisons," states Linn Huang, research vice president, Devices & Displays, IDC. "With the world plunging deeper into economic hardship, things are likely to get worse before they get better. We expect volume contraction as well as some price regression downwards to put financial pressure on all industry players.
