Some geographic markets saw significant shipment declines and some segments saw significant growth. In 2023, we saw a resurgence from the previous supply chain challenges in markets such as North America and AP that offset declines in Western Europe and Latin America. We see many of the same demand drivers and market inhibitors, which is why the shipment forecast is fairly stable, but the impact of hybrid work patterns and artificial intelligence is still emerging. Overall, we see that manufacturers and distributors will need to aggressively promote single-function scanning solutions and that will have an impact on hardware revenue over the forecast period.
