This IDC study presents the worldwide market forecast for carrier routing network equipment for 2023–2027. Carrier routing network equipment sales to carrier SPs are forecast to grow from $12.4 billion in 2022 to $14.7 billion by the end of 2027, at a CAGR of 3.5%."Communications service providers worldwide continue to upgrade their network to add capacity and support new and emerging applications. The overall carrier IP routing market saw a steady YoY growth of 1.3% in 2022 because of service providers' increased deployment of 400Gbps technology.
