VMWare Explore — Welcome to the Multicloud
This IDC Market Note discusses the VMware Explore event held in San Francisco's Moscone Center, August 29–31, 2022. After a three-year hiatus from in-person events, VMware expected over 10,000 customers and partners in attendance and changed the name from VMworld to VMware Explore. The theme of the event was "The Center of a Multi-Cloud Universe," declaring that VMware Explore is the main event for the multicloud community and the center of the multicloud universe.
