Red Hat Summit 2023: Don't Let AI Overshadow Other Important New Products

This IDC Market Perspective highlights a series of announcements made by Red Hat at Red Hat Summit 2023 that both build on existing initiatives and expand the company's footprint into new territory. "Given the excitement surrounding generative AI, it is not really surprising that Red Hat addressed that topic head-on. But the company also brought forward pragmatic solutions that are incrementally adoptable by its current customers," said Al Gillen, GVP, Software Development and Open Source, IDC. "We saw the company address the practical incorporation of AI into its Ansible product family, but equally important, Red Hat made some significant moves that increase the company's presence and credibility with developers and DevSecOps professionals at this year's event."
