The Professional Services Opportunity in Low Code/No Code

The Professional Services Opportunity in Low Code/No Code

This IDC Market Perspective discusses low-code/no-code technology and the role of the professional services provider. This document uses findings from both IDC's 2023 Digital Transformation Professional Services Survey and IDC's 2023 ServicesPath to illustrate the gaps low code/no code can fill and the need for more awareness on this topic. Examples of services provider offerings to support client awareness and adoption of low code/no code are also included in this document."The current market has created a gap for which low code and no code are almost a perfect fit to help close," said Erin Hichman, research manager, Digital Business Professional Services at IDC. "And, when looking at what professional services buyers say are their top needs of assistance during cloud implementation services, low code and no code appear to almost be the 'cure-all' fix. However, less than one-fourth of digital transformation professional services clients say they are using low code/no code to the 'fullest extent,' indicating a knowledge gap that can be filled from professional services providers."
