This IDC study provides vendor market shares for the printer and MFP market for 2023."Print vendors faced a year of mixed blessings in 2023. The year began with pent-up demand as vendors were able to ship backlogged orders that had accumulated during the supply chain crisis in 2021 and 2022. However, after pent-up demand was served, vendors faced weakened demand from a soft economy, as potential customers postponed significant purchases. Economic uncertainty remains and is expected to limit opportunities until at least the second half of 2024.
