This IDC study summarizes the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Japan private cloud market based on information collected by early September 2024.Private clouds have been introduced with the aim of improving IT environment efficiency. On the other hand, adoption has often remained silo based, and the adoption of pioneering technologies, such as cloud native and AI, has lagged behind public clouds. Nowadays, companies are beginning to focus on digital business, and it is becoming increasingly important for them to utilize pioneering technologies in private clouds.
