IDC's Global CIO Advisory Board: 2024 Tech Expectations and Emerging Technologies Predictions

Following their presentation, Richard Villars, group vice president, at IDC, shared some key predictions from the IDC FutureScape series. "Transformation is the 2024 word of the year for the CIO. While transformation has been associated with digital transformation in the past, in 2024, it is more likely to be associated with AI transforming the business. With this influx in investments going toward AI technologies, CIOs indicated that reskilling and training will be a major focus for their organization's talent strategy in 2024," said Siman, research manager, Worldwide C-Suite Tech Agenda program, IDC.
