This IDC Perspective examines results from IDC's August 2024 Industry TechPath Survey and highlights some of the trends and areas throughout utility organizations that are seeing increased investment and adoption of cloud technologies and applications. "Utilities slowly but surely are beginning to increase the use of cloud across the value chain. As the utility sector continues to digitally mature and grow its adoption of cloud use, positive business and operational outcomes are expected to occur.
