GigaIO Vendor Profile: Ushering in the Era of Open, Truly Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure

This IDC Perspective discusses how GigaIO is helping usher in the era of open, truly composable disaggregated infrastructure (CDI). Composable disaggregated infrastructure promises to enable improved IT infrastructure efficiency and lower costs for the AI and other demanding workloads being deployed as enterprises move to a "digital first" orientation in their business models. There have been several false starts in this space built around proprietary offerings, but standards have emerged that are being supported by multiple vendors in this area, and IDC published its first revenue forecast for CDI in May 2021.
