This IDC Perspective highlights the 2024 version of the Future of Operations Framework. This framework revolves around the concept of data-driven operations, which opens the door to optimizing operational performance while supporting continuous innovation and mitigating risk. The framework focuses on three critical operational dimensions (resiliency, agility, and predictability) and enablers/technologies (connectivity, cloud, and contextualization)."Operational transformation remains top of mind across a wide range of industries, and having a framework in place to achieve this transformation is important.
