This IDC Perspective provides a summary of IDC's recent Global CIO Research Advisory Board event that focused on the topic of intelligent process automation (IPA). "The December edition of IDC's Global CIO Advisory Board saw a vibrant exchange of ideas and best practices on the topic of intelligent process automation. The session was kicked off with an overview of IDC's intelligent process automation framework from Maureen Fleming, followed by a discussion with Josh Remacle from Koch Industries based on his experiences setting up a Digital Workforce Center of Excellence," said Philip Carter, group vice president, IDC C-Suite Tech Research. "We then had a fascinating presentation from Mukund Devanathan (CIO of SI Group) and his colleague Gustavo Araujo (senior director of Supply Chain Excellence group) talking through their recently implemented process mining project with Celonis."
