Canadian Communications Market Shares, 2021: Who's Who in the Zoo 21

This IDC study examines the Canadian communication services sector market shares and provides a competitive overview of each market segment for the full year 2021. "The duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and prospect of recession remain unknown, but the communications service sector remains better insulated than most to weather economic uncertainties," says study author Lawrence Surtees, vice president and principal analyst in the Communications Practice at IDC Canada Ltd."Those current challenges, however, underscore the critical importance of investing in next-generation network (NGN) technologies to mitigate possible revenue loss, meet burgeoning network demand, enable digital transformation (DX), and pursue potential new revenue streams."
