The ternary precursor of high-nickel NCM in single crystal is usually prepared by molten salt method, and the polycrystalline NCM precursor is dissolved in lithium-based molten salt, and then recrystallized into single crystal NCM particles. Medium and high nickel content refers to the proportion of Ni in the composition, generally between 60% and 80%. The higher the nickel content, the higher the specific capacity and energy density of the cathode material.
