Regenerative thermal oxidizers are generally considered to be very energy efficient. The regenerative thermal oxidation furnace body is composed of a heat storage tank and an oxidation tank. When the purified high-temperature flue gas flows through another bed outlet heat storage tank, heat energy is stored in the heat storage ceramics. In the next airflow cycle, the switching valve controls the airflow to flow in reverse, and the heat-stored tank serves as the inlet port to preheat the exhaust gas. By switching the damper valve group to regularly switch the process waste gas inlet, purge and discharge process, the flow direction of the process waste gas entering the furnace body is changed, and the waste gas completes preheating, oxidation heat release, heat storage and discharge in sequence in the furnace body to realize energy storage. , Release cycle. The heat storage process enables the heat energy released by oxidation to be reused, saving the fuel consumed for preheating the exhaust gas.
The regenerative thermal oxidation furnace has the characteristics of high thermal efficiency, reliable operation, and the ability to treat medium and low concentration waste gas. The principle is to heat the organic waste gas to above 760°C, so that the organic matter in the waste gas is oxidized and decomposed into CO2 and H2O in the oxidation chamber.
