A rail-to-rail operational amplifier is a specially designed operational amplifier that provides an output voltage range at the output that is as close as possible to the supply voltage. This means that the RR-OPAMP can output maximum and minimum voltages close to the supply voltage. Conventional op amps may not be able to provide the full output range at the output, and the output voltage cannot reach the supply voltage, a phenomenon known as "swing limiting". The RR-OPAMP, through a special design, enables its output to be close to the power supply voltage, thereby avoiding the swing limitation of the traditional operational amplifier.
