Non-intrusive current transformer is a sensor used to measure current. It can sense the current in the wire without disconnecting the wire in the circuit, avoiding the influence and danger to the circuit in the high voltage circuit. It works by sensing the magnetic field around the current to measure the magnitude of the current. Non-intrusive current transformers consist of two main parts: a magnetic core and an induction coil. After the induced voltage signal is amplified and filtered, the information of the magnitude of the current can be output. Compared with traditional current transformers, non-invasive current transformers have the advantages of convenient measurement, high precision, and convenient installation. It can be used in AC current measurement, electric energy metering, electronic ammeter, power monitoring and protection, etc., and can adapt to various application environments, such as indoor, outdoor and harsh environments.
