Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) is a water treatment technology used to remove ions, dissolved salts and other impurities from water. It is developed on the basis of ion exchange and electroadsorption technology.

In the CEDI system, cations in the water will migrate from the water to the anion exchange membrane, and anions will migrate from the water to the cation exchange membrane. At the same time, impurities and microorganisms will also be isolated between membranes to achieve water purification.
