Summary

Mining, manufacturing and utilities contributed 24.2% to the gross value added (GVA) in 2021, followed by financial intermediation, real estate and business activities (18.8%), wholesale, retail and hotels activities (17.8%). In nominal terms, the three sectors are expected to grow by 5%, 5.7% and 4.8%, respectively, in 2022.
