Liverpool’s Mexico health & beauty shoppers are predominantly female (63.1%), it also attracts many male shoppers due to its extensive line of male grooming products (36.9%). According to GlobalData’s Q3 2021 Consumer Survey, 30.9% of Mexican consumers buy from Liverpool when purchasing health and beauty products. Liverpool’s share of the health & beauty market in Mexico rose 0.1 ppt in 2021 versus 2020, reaching 1.5%. The retailer’s market share has not been increasing consistently and has bounced between 1.4% and 1.5% over the past few years. Liverpool’s online sales have risen from MXN20,380 million in 2020 to MXN22,418 million in 2021, increasing by 10%.
