The foodservice profit sector generated revenue of HUF2,226.6 billion ($6.3 billion) in 2023, recording a CAGR of 5.9% during 2018-23. Outlet count fell during the period; however, there was modest transactional growth.
FSR was the largest channel in Hungary in 2023, accounting for a 24.9% share of total sales, followed by QSR with 21.1% and pub, club & bar with 20.1%. All channels recorded value growth during 2018-23.
During 2023-28, the Hungarian profit sector will register a value CAGR of 7.4%.
