Summary

This report is based on polls designed to help us understand the current sentiment of the business community towards ESG (environmental, social, and governance).

Key Highlights

In Q2 2023, only half of the poll respondents knew that their company had an ESG strategy, showing little change from the previous quarter’s poll (55%).

With ESG disclosure becoming mandatory in many jurisdictions, more companies will need to improve the clarity of their communication around ESG strategies.

Half of the respondents considered high inflation to be the most impactful theme for the next 12 months, showing no significant change from Q1. The Russia-Ukraine war, a catalyst for rising inflation back in 2022, was identified by one-third of respondents as likely to have the most significant impact.
