US spending on home kitchen and bathroom remodeling is projected to rise 5.0% annually to more than $87 billion in 2022. Continuing homeowner interest in these projects to improve the appearance and value of their residences will spur growth. Advances will also be supported by homeowner interest in improving convenience, such as by adding bathrooms with senior-friendly products to facilitate “aging-in-place” or to add countertop space and cabinets to a kitchen to make it easier to prepare meals and entertain guests.
