This report forecasts to 2028 US small kitchen appliances demand and shipments in nominal US dollars at the manufacturer level. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: coffee makers; mixers and blenders; portable ovens and stoves; grinders and processors; small cooking appliances, such as electric griddles, grills, hot plates, rice cookers, roasters, and sandwich makers; toasters; juicers; and other small kitchen appliances such as bread makers, multicookers, pressure cookers, slow cookers, tea makers, and parts and attachments.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand, total shipments, the various segments, and trade are provided in annual series from 2013 to 2023.

The scope of this report includes electric household-type small kitchen appliances. Manual products are excluded (e.g., manual grinders). Appliances powered by natural gas, propane, and wood are also excluded. In addition, ice cream makers, soda makers, microwaves, and vacuum sealers are excluded from the scope of this report. Appliances designed for commercial or industrial use are excluded. Re-exports of small kitchen appliances are excluded from demand and trade figures.

This report includes the results of a proprietary national online consumer survey of US adults (age 18+). This Freedonia Focus Reports National Online Consumer Survey has a sample size of approximately 1,500, screened for response quality, and representative of the US population on the demographic measures of age, gender, geographic region, race/ethnicity, household income, and the presence/absence of children in the household.
