Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: life safety alarms, intrusion alarms, and personal emergency response service (PERS) and mobile personal emergency response service (mPERS). Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: residential; trade and distribution; industrial; financial institutions; government; commercial offices and office buildings; and other markets such as services, educational buildings, healthcare, air transport, lodging, religious facilities, libraries, and museums.
