Excluded from the scope of this report are: air compressors, chainsaws, hand tools such as manual screwdrivers and saws, hydraulic automotive lifts, machine tools such as computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, nail and staple cartridges, outdoor power equipment such as edgers/trimmers and leaf blowers, and table and wall-mounted saws.
For the purposes of this report, tools assembled in the US (regardless of the source of the components) count as domestic production.
