This report forecasts to 2026 US pouch demand in nominal US dollars at the manufacturer level. Total demand is segmented by material in terms of: plastic; paper; and other materials such as aluminum foil, cellophane, and textiles. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: snack foods; candy and confections; frozen food; baked goods; other food and beverage markets such as beverages, dairy products, and fresh produce; pharmaceuticals; and other nonfood markets such as agricultural and horticultural products, medical products, and pet food.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2011 to 2021; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2011, 2016, and 2021.
